Featuring Thirteen Island Plein Air Artists

We are excited to offer the first Kauai Plein Air Invitational which will conclude with an afternoon fundraiser art sale and reception on the front lawn of Grove Farm museum on June 11, 2011 from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. We are partnering with thirteen island artists who are donating a portion of the sales of their paintings to the preservation of these sites. They will be painting different views around Kauai from June 5th to the 11th. The Kauai Plein Air Invitational will bring artists and the community together to capture a time in Kauai’s beautiful landscapes. The proceeds from this fundraiser of these paintings will contribute to the long term preservation of the 1836 Waioli Mission House museum in Hanalei and the 1850 Grove Farm museum in Lihue. Please join us and the thirteen featured artists in this celebration of Kauai’s beauty and enjoy wine sampling, refreshments and afternoon music while participating in an opportunity to bring to your home one or several of the artists’ most favored paintings of the week.
